We take great care to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of our people and of those who could be affected by our business. The protection of our assets and our reputation for protecting the environment is also of the utmost importance.

Global Marine is fully committed to meeting its responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (as amended), including the International Safety Management Regulations under the ISM Code (as amended).

The health and safety of those around us in our organisation is paramount to our success; as a team, we all look after each other.

Global Marine is accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007 emphasising the commitment to the health, safety and welfare of its employees, contractors and visitors. In line with our focus on continual improvement, our management systems are assessed both internally and externally on an on-going basis.

In the summer of 2014 Global Marine was awarded the ‘Order of Distinction’ from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), after previously receiving 15 consecutive Gold Awards; this achievement is something that the Global Marine team is extremely proud of, demonstrating our continual commitment to delivering strong occupational health and safety management systems across the company. The company has recently been awarded with the 2016 award, marking our 17 consecutive Gold award.
