A cable route desk top study (DTS) is a key part of the initial planning phase of a submarine cable system. For Hydrocarbon developments it often forms part of the FEED process.

We have the capability to install power cables whether the requirement is HVDC or HVAC, and with experience in operating in very shallow (less than 10m) and the very deep (over 6,000m) and are able to deliver a vast array of projects.
With a comprehensive range of vessels and subsea equipment which now includes the Global Symphony, a purpose-built IMR and ROV support vessel and two Q1400s, capable of trenching pipelines, umbilicals and cables with a product diameter of 900mm to a depth of 3m, Global Marine Group are fully prepared for the challenge.
At the end of 2017 Global Marine Group acquired Fugro’s trenching and cable laying business, now branded as Global Offshore.

Whether it's a beach manhole or OGB (Ocean Ground Bed) Global Marine deliver a complete offshore solution enabling end-to-end system connectivity.
Using barges or vessels of opportunity equipped to install and bury power cable from the cable landing. Generally solutions range from 0-50m dependant on cost optimisation.
Global Marine's Rocksaw and Injector are capable of deep burial in rock to a depth of 4 metres for Rocksaw and in softer seabed conditions for the Injector to a depth of 12 metres.
Global Marine has storage facilities available for customers at our depots, which are easily upgraded for power cable storage.
Operating in water zones from 0 to 50 metres, in challenging environments and often in close proximity to other cables and pipelines.
All diving activities globally are carried out under UK Health and Safety Executive Diving Regulations and codes of practice in addition to IMCA International Code of Practice for Offshore Diving.
