Dick joined Global Marine in September 2014 after he led the acquisition from its prior owners. Dick brings a variety of experiences to Global Marine; he spent 12 years as a banker with DNB New York serving the telecom, energy & marine industries, and 17 years as a senior executive officer at Seacor Holdings Inc. (NYSE: “CKH”) with world-wide operations focused on energy & marine services industries.
Before becoming CEO in 2011, Ian worked extensively in Asia where he led the diversification and growth of our JV,SBSS and was the founding CEO of Huawei Marine Networks.
He is a Chartered Engineer having graduated in Mechanical Engineering and holds an MBA from Henley. He is one of only a handful of business people to receive The Friendship Award – the highest honour awarded by the Chinese Government for contributions to China.
Bruce began his career with Global Marine at sea in 1989 becoming a Master Mariner and the youngest ever Captain in the fleet, before coming ashore in 2005. He has recently returned from China after six years working in both HMN as VP Service Delivery and SBSS as Managing Director.
Ian has 35 years' experience as a Chartered Engineer having qualified as a Chief [Weapons] Engineer in the Royal Navy's Submarine Service. He was educated at Royal Naval Colleges Manadon and Greenwich, and at Warwick Business School.
Ian joined Global Marine Group in 2016 from Soil Machine Dynamics where he was responsible for delivery of after-market engineering services to clients across the globe. Ian has held senior roles in the delivery of major capital projects, services and manufacturing businesses. Ian sits on two boards for the company the Group GMSL board, as well as the recently formed joint venture CWind Taiwan.
Mark has more than 35 years of international operations, commercial, strategic and business development experience gained in the offshore renewables and oil & gas industries.
Mark joins the CWind team as MD after recent roles at Ceona Offshore, Reef Subsea and providing consultancy and interim services, mean that Mark is ideally placed to lead the CWind team as the organisation continues to grow and expand its services within the offshore renewables industry.
Mike has been in the business for many years with over 35 years’ experience in the oil & gas and renewables sectors. Having previously worked at UDI, Rockwater, Stolt Offshore and Subocean Group, Mike joined Fugro’s Subsea construction and Installation team as a Project Manager in 2012, before becoming Business Line Manager in 2013.
During his time at Fugro Mike has lead the team in successful completing many projects including most recently the Rampion Offshore windfarm array cable installation, Hywind export cable trenching, Maria pipeline trenching, Shell Gannet pipeline trenching, Humber Gateway cable installation and trenching of 77 array cables, Talisman Arkwright umbilical trenching, BP ETAP project 32km umbilical replacement, Engie Cygnus 74km umbilical trenching and Shell Corrib project.
On joining the Global Marine Group, Mike assumes the role of Managing Director bringing his great experience and capabilities to head the team.
